Some of you may remember us reporting on rumors of PSP Go getting a price cut around the time of Gamescom. Well, it seems that some retailers in the UK are already doing just that. Gamesindustry.biz is reporting that HMV, GAME, Play.com and Amazon have all slashed the prices to £199.99, down from the RRP of £224.99 that the machine released at on October 1. While this is not an official price cut, it is a clear indicator that the price will not remain at the spot it is now for long. Many have criticized Sony for releasing an aging handheld with minor upgrades (and some downgrades as well) for only $50 less than their flagship console, the PlayStation 3. Let's hope that this criticism pressures them to officially lower the price soon.
